Grease gun, brush, hand application and automatic
lubricators. Spanjaard Open Gear Lubricant 1279 is available in 4 consistencies to meet the requirements of various types of automatic lubricators i.e. NLGI 00, 0, 1, 1½.
For open gears we suggest the use of a stroboscope to monitor and set the correct volume of lubricant for the gear, thus the amount of grease can actually be seen on the gear tooth. As our lubricant is not affected by wide ranges of ambient temperatures, heating apparatus is not required. It will not solidify on cold winter mornings or over supply in the heat of the day.
